Skills And Competencies
- 5+ years of credit, risk assessment, capital markets, structured finance, banking, or related financial services experience
- Demonstrated understanding of structured finance asset classes, securitization structures, and key market participants, including issuers, arrangers, investors, and servicers
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial analysis, cash flow assessment, and the ability to evaluate complex transaction structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analyses and recommendations clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities within tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality analytical work
- Knowledge of additional European languages, especially Dutch, is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can enhance analytical processes, improve productivity, and drive operational efficiency

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
- CFA, FRM, ACA, ACCA, or other relevant professional qualification would be beneficial
Responsibilities
- Perform credit analysis for new and existing structured finance transactions across relevant asset classes, including the assessment of transaction structures, collateral performance, and key credit risks.
- Support the assignment and ongoing surveillance of credit ratings by conducting detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis and preparing rating committee materials
- Monitor transaction performance and identify developments that may impact credit quality, ratings, or sector outlooks
- Engage with issuers, arrangers, servicers, investors, and other market participants to gather information and enhance analytical understanding of transactions and sectors
- Contribute to and lead rating committee discussions by presenting analytical findings and recommendations supported by robust credit analysis
- Collaborate with analysts, associates, and senior team members across Moody's Ratings to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in analytical processes
- Author credit opinions, research content, sector commentary, and other analytical publications that support market transparency and investor understanding
- Contribute to methodology enhancements, technology initiatives, and process improvement projects, including the responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools
- Support the development and mentoring of junior team members by sharing technical knowledge and best practices

Our Structured Finance Group team delivers independent credit ratings and research across a broad range of securitization and structured finance markets. We are committed to providing transparent, high-quality credit opinions that support investor confidence and informed market decisions. By joining our team, you will work on complex and evolving financing structures, collaborate with experienced professionals across Moody's Ratings, and contribute to the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, that enhance analytical capabilities and operational efficiency.
