The Role

The AVP/Director, TDX Vendor & Commercial Governance is responsible for establishing and leading the global vendor strategy, commercial governance framework, and financial discipline across Technology, Data and Operational Excellence initiatives within SATS.

This role serves as the central authority for TDX vendor management, contract governance, licensing compliance, and technology spend optimization, ensuring that external partnerships deliver maximum value while minimizing commercial and operational risk.

Reporting to the SVP, Global Portfolio and Governance, the role drives disciplined oversight of vendor performance, contractual obligations (including EULA compliance), and cost-to-value optimization across the enterprise technology ecosystem. The position partners closely with procurement, legal, finance, technology leaders, and regional stakeholders to ensure that vendor relationships are strategically aligned, commercially sound, and operationally effective.

The role ensures that vendor engagements are structured to deliver measurable outcomes, that licensing and contractual risks are actively managed, and that technology investments are optimized for efficiency, scalability, and value realization.

Through strong governance, performance management, and financial oversight, this role protects enterprise value while enhancing execution capability and resource readiness across global operations.

  • Ensure strategic alignment between vendor capabilities and business priorities across regions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
