About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Awaab’s Compliance and Escalation Manager will support Camden’s Awaab’s Compliance function by providing day-to-day management of escalated, complex and higher-risk cases that fall within the scope of Awaab’s Law. The role will help ensure that statutory and internal timescales are monitored, risks are identified early, and clear action is taken where cases require intervention, coordination or escalation.

The postholder will act as deputy to the Awaab’s Compliance Manager where required and will manage the Compliance Coordinators. They will work across operational delivery teams, Rapid Response, Repairs, Housing Management, TMOs, Damp and Mould, Legal Disrepair, Environmental Health, contractors and partner services to make sure barriers are addressed quickly, vulnerable residents and no-access cases are properly managed, and Camden can evidence compliance with Awaab’s Law and associated regulatory requirements.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require a Basic DBS.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You have experience working with repairs, damp and mould, resident safety, compliance or related housing services, and are comfortable working across multiple teams to coordinate action, remove barriers and ensure risks are managed appropriately. You understand the importance of accurate record keeping, evidence management and maintaining clear audit trails, and can use performance information and case data to identify trends, provide assurance and drive improvement.

As a people manager, you lead with clarity and empathy, supporting and developing others while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. You are confident communicating with residents, colleagues, contractors and senior stakeholders, explaining complex issues in a way that is clear, professional and solution focused.

You are organised, resilient and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment, particularly when managing sensitive, complex or higher-risk cases. Most importantly, you share our commitment to resident safety and excellent customer service and are passionate about helping Camden deliver on the requirements of Awaab's Law and achieve the best possible outcomes for residents.
