Help Us Keep Residents Safe

Templer HomeBuild are expanding their response and larger works team; We're looking for a Awaab's Law & Disrepair Supervisor to support our commitment in repairing and maintaining safe homes to Teign Housings community.

Working with your Trade teams, you'll take ownership of damp, mould, condensation, and disrepair cases, ensuring issues are resolved quickly, safely, and in line with Awaab's Law requirements.

The Awaab’s Law Supervisor Role

  • Lead the day-to-day management of damp, mould, condensation, and disrepair cases.
  • Ensure compliance with Awaab's Law, housing standards, and organisational policies.
  • Coordinate property inspections, remedial works, post-inspections, and case closure activities.
  • You'll also take a lead role in identifying risks, managing resident decants where necessary, monitoring contractor performance, and driving service improvements to prevent recurring issues.
  • Health and Safety reporting – you will complete on-site welfare checks, including monitoring safe ways of working, PPE, van, and tool/equipment inspections.

What will you bring as a Awaab’s Law Supervisor?

  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ 2 level or equivalent in a core trade
  • SSSTS qualification would be advantageous but not essential
  • Sound knowledge of construction processes
  • The ability to ‘lead by example’ and incentivise an experienced directly employed and subcontract trade workforce
  • Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Supervisor role.
