AWS AI Agent Engineer | Contract | London | 3β4 Months

We are seeking an experienced AWS AI Agent Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Amazon Bedrock, AWS AgentCore, Python, TypeScript, and AIOps/LLMOps for production AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI agents using AWS AgentCore and Amazon Bedrock.
- Build multi-agent workflows leveraging RAG, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, memory, and orchestration.
- Develop secure backend services and REST APIs using Python and TypeScript.
- Build serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Implement production monitoring, observability, incident management, and optimize AI systems for performance, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with architects, platform, and security teams to deliver scalable enterprise AI solutions.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and AWS AgentCore (or similar AI agent frameworks).
- Strong expertise in Python, TypeScript, REST APIs, and serverless development.
- Experience with Agentic AI, RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, memory, and workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of AWS serverless services, IAM, cloud security, and AWS Well-Architected principles.
- Experience with AIOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, Docker, GitHub/GitLab, and Terraform/CDK/CloudFormation.

- MCP (Model Context Protocol), AI Governance, Responsible AI, GenAI FinOps
- Integration experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms
