AWS AI Agent Engineer
Location: London, UK (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite)
Contract: 3–4 Months
Role Overview
Seeking an experienced AWS AI Agent Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agentic AI, Amazon Bedrock, AWS AgentCore, Python, TypeScript, and production-grade AIOps/LLMOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents using AWS AgentCore and Amazon Bedrock.
- Develop multi-agent workflows, RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, and orchestration.
- Build scalable backend services using Python, TypeScript, REST APIs, and serverless AWS services.
- Deploy secure, event-driven applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Monitor and optimize AI systems through AIOps/LLMOps, including telemetry, latency, cost, hallucination tracking, and prompt evaluation.
- Implement CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK/CloudFormation, Docker, GitHub/GitLab.
