Shape the Future of Cloud Transformation
Are you passionate about cloud architecture, modern platforms and helping organisations solve complex technology challenges? Do you enjoy working with clients to design scalable, secure and resilient cloud solutions that drive business outcomes?
We are looking for experienced AWS Cloud Architects to join a growing Technology Consulting practice delivering transformational cloud programmes for public sector and highly regulated organisations across the UK.
This role combines hands-on architecture with a consultative approach. You will work closely with clients to understand their challenges, define future-state cloud strategies and lead the design of modern AWS-based solutions. You'll have the opportunity to influence critical technology decisions while remaining close to delivery and engineering teams.
With major investment and growth across the UK, including significant expansion in Newcastle, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business working on large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
The Role
As an AWS Cloud Architect, you will:
- Design secure, scalable and resilient cloud architectures on AWS.
- Support clients in migrating and modernising legacy on-premise environments.
- Define target architectures, technology roadmaps and platform strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Provide architectural leadership across cloud transformation programmes.
- Advise stakeholders on cloud best practices, governance and security controls.
- Work with engineering teams to implement cloud-native platforms using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
- Lead technical workstreams and mentor engineers and junior consultants.
- Support cloud cost optimisation initiatives and FinOps practices.
- Assess, stabilise and modernise complex or poorly managed AWS environments.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted technology advisor.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
