AWS Solution Architect – Senior Manager

Location: London

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2–3 days on-site

Salary: £100,000 – £125,000 + 20% bonus + Package

Security Clearance: Eligibility for BPSS & SC required

We’re working with a globally recognised professional services and technology consultancy that is looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect to join its growing cloud practice at Senior Manager level.

This is an opportunity to work with major enterprise and public sector clients, helping them shape and deliver complex cloud transformation programmes across AWS, data, AI, security and modern application architecture.

The Role

As an AWS Solution Architect, you’ll operate at a senior level, working closely with clients and internal technical teams to define cloud strategy, design enterprise-scale architectures and lead complex transformation programmes.

You’ll combine strong technical expertise with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, translate business challenges into practical technology solutions and provide architectural leadership throughout delivery.

What you’ll be doing

  • Define AWS cloud strategies, governance models and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Design secure, scalable and highly available cloud solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead large-scale cloud transformation programmes, including data centre exits, cloud migrations and legacy modernisation.
  • Architect solutions across AWS, data, AI, security and modern application platforms.
  • Design cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, serverless and API-led architectures.
  • Develop integration and hybrid connectivity strategies, including event-driven architectures.
  • Ensure solutions meet requirements around security, resilience, performance, observability and disaster recovery.
  • Advise clients on cloud governance, cost optimisation, compliance and best practice.
  • Work with senior stakeholders, presenting architecture and cloud strategies to leadership teams and governance forums.
  • Mentor and develop consultants, managers and other technical specialists.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
