Position: AWS Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20 - $60/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using core services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Implement and maintain identity and access management configurations along with network setups using IAM and VPC.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch and related monitoring tools.
- Develop and maintain operational scripts in Bash and Python to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with robust security practices across all cloud operations.

Requirements
- Have proven expertise with AWS core services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Possess a solid foundation in Linux administration and shell scripting, particularly in Bash.
- Have experience in developing automation solutions using Python.
- Have a deep understanding of network basics and cloud security best practices.
- Be hands-on with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
