Job Title

Are you passionate about building and automating AWS infrastructure that enables organisations to innovate at scale? We’re looking for an AWS Platform Engineer to join our Strategic Digital Solutions team, helping to design, build and deploy secure, scalable AWS solutions for a range of customers.

Working alongside our architecture teams, you'll deliver AWS solutions in a repeatable and automated way using Infrastructure as Code. You'll play a key role in developing cloud platforms, supporting DevSecOps practices, and helping customers mature their cloud operations. We can offer great career progression opportunities, ability to be based anywhere across the UK, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs, and training and development opportunities.

What you'll be doing

  • Automating AWS infrastructure build and management using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK and Terraform.
  • Deploying automated AWS solutions as part of larger projects and programmes.
  • Leading a technical domain within the capability and supporting the development of new products and services.
  • Working closely with customers through workshops and technical discussions to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Ensuring the quality, relevance and successful delivery of solutions, while identifying and managing risks.
  • Supporting knowledge sharing, product training and the development of colleagues across the wider team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
