Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS data engineering, PySpark, and telecom network performance data processing. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable data pipelines, implement schema management, and build high-performance data ingestion and transformation solutions using AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop parsers for telecom network performance data (XML, ASN.1) and transform data into Parquet format.
  • Build scalable serverless data pipelines using AWS Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
  • Design and maintain schema management, versioning, dynamic schema updates, and data lifecycle processes.
  • Implement robust error handling, retries, audit logging, monitoring, and metadata management using DynamoDB and CloudWatch.
  • Develop and optimize distributed data processing jobs using PySpark on AWS EMR.
  • Build data ingestion pipelines leveraging Amazon MSK (Kafka) for real-time streaming.
  • Deploy and optimize data solutions on Amazon Redshift and Click House.
  • Implement telecom KPI aggregation (15/60-minute counters) and ensure alignment with OEM/vendor specifications.
  • Support deployment, upgrades, and performance optimization of enterprise data pipelines.

  • Strong experience with AWS Data Engineering services (Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, EMR, Redshift, MSK).
  • Hands-on expertise in PySpark and distributed data processing.
  • Experience processing XML, ASN.1, Parquet, and preferably Apache Iceberg.
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka (Amazon MSK) and real-time streaming architectures.
  • Experience with schema management, data versioning, and ETL pipeline development.
  • Good understanding of telecom network performance data and KPI aggregation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience building scalable, cloud-native data solutions.
