AgileSource AWS DevOps Engineer Opportunity

AgileSource are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with active SC Clearance to design, build and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks within secure and highly regulated environments.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cloud transformation and platform engineering initiatives, supporting the delivery of scalable, secure and automated solutions across a range of mission-critical projects. The successful candidate will have strong AWS expertise, excellent Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities, and a passion for DevSecOps and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable, secure and automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform to support repeatable, compliant and resilient cloud environments.
  • Implement automation across build, test and deployment workflows to improve consistency, quality and speed of delivery.
  • Apply DevSecOps practices and OWASP security principles throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Deploy and manage containerised workloads using Kubernetes and AWS-native services including ECS and EKS.
  • Monitor platform performance, availability and security through logging, alerting and observability tooling.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects and delivery teams to embed DevOps best practices across projects.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform and deployment issues across production and non-production environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cloud engineering and deployment processes.

Essential Experience

  • Active Security Check (SC) Clearance.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including compute, networking, IAM, security and monitoring services.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
  • Strong Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise.
  • Demonstrable experience operating Kubernetes environments in production.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and OWASP security practices.
  • Experience scripting and automating solutions using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams and collaborating across multidisciplinary technical environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
