MANDATORY SKILLS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Data Lakehouse Integration Architectures, including data flows, process flows, ELT/ETL patterns.
- Build, optimize and maintain scalable Data Pipelines for ingestion, processing and storage across Data Lake and Lakehouse layers.
- Implement Data Governance, Security, Data Lineage and Compliance best practices throughout the data lifecycle.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and fine-tune data workflows, compute jobs and storage layers for high performance and reliability.
- Provide Production Support with robust system observability and proactive issue resolution.
- Collaborate with platform, analytics and engineering teams on Data Modeling, Table Design and Storage Optimization, including Apache Iceberg / Delta patterns.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Data Engineering or a similar role within an enterprise-scale environment.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Data Integration Platforms such as IBM StreamSets / Informatica.
- Strong understanding of Data Transformation and Data Orchestration processes.
- Extensive experience with AWS Services, including:
- AWS IAM
- AWS Lambda
- EKS
- S3
- Data Lake
- EMR
- PySpark
- MWAA
- Lakehouse Technologies
- Strong knowledge of Apache Iceberg.
- Proven expertise with Snowflake, including performance tuning and efficient query design.
- Experience with Batch Pipelines / StreamSets and streaming technologies such as Kafka.
