About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Engineer to join a fast-paced Agile team at Opus Recruitment Solutions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in cloud engineering and DevOps practices, with relevant experience in AWS and automation tools. Essential qualifications include proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Relevant certifications in AWS or DevOps are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions within the AWS environment, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, maintaining infrastructure consistency and repeatability.
- Create, maintain, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to streamline deployment processes.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve platform reliability, operational efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and stakeholders, within an Agile framework.
- Champion DevOps best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Benefits
This role offers a competitive daily rate of 350 per day, inside IR35, with a contract duration of six months. The position is based on a hybrid working model, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
