Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer – Contract
£500/day | Outside IR35 | 6 months | Remote / Hybrid
I'm working with a growing technology business looking for 2x Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineers to help build the infrastructure behind a new application platform.
The Role
- Hands-on AWS infrastructure and cloud architecture
- Strong focus on Kubernetes / AWS EKS
- Enterprise Kafka / AWS MSK infrastructure
- Terraform for infrastructure as code
- ArgoCD / GitOps and CI/CD automation
- GitHub Actions and deployment pipelines
- IAM, SSO, authentication and AWS security
- Observability, monitoring and incident management
- Working closely with senior and permanent engineers to shape the platform
- Knowledge transfer and working with a strong contractor mindset

We're Looking For
- Strong production AWS EKS experience
- Excellent Kubernetes knowledge
- Strong Terraform capability
- Hands-on Kafka / MSK infrastructure experience
- Strong ArgoCD / GitOps experience
- Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation
- Strong understanding of IAM, SSO and AWS security
- Experience with observability and incident management
- Java/application development exposure would be a bonus
- AdTech experience desirable
- Comfortable working autonomously and contributing to an established engineering team
