The Role
As an Implementation Consultant, you will be part of a collaborative and highly skilled team supporting PLM Solutions for customers across the UK. You will contribute to the ongoing support, optimisation, and evolution of PLM environments, helping to ensure they remain reliable and performant.
You will ensure high availability and performance of the environments, enabling engineering teams to work efficiently and without disruption. The role combines hands-on technical work, proactive system management, and close collaboration with application, database, network, and security teams.
You will support the implementation and ongoing operation of Siemens PLM Software solutions, helping customers achieve stable, high-performing production environments throughout their digital transformation journey.
This is a fully remote position with UK, offering flexibility and autonomy, while remaining part of a highly connected global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and technical consultation during the implementation and configuration of ALM/PLM solutions for our customers (Polarion or Teamcenter).
- Deliver comprehensive technical support, including shift-based work, to ensure continuous operation and post-implementation customer satisfaction.
- Handle and resolve L2 tickets and technical incidents related to ALM/PLM applications to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform system maintenance tasks, including applying patches and updates in Test, UAT, and Production environments, to maintain solution integrity and security.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses for sophisticated technical issues and document findings to prevent recurrence and improve system stability.
- Liaise with internal product support (GTAC) to resolve deeper product-related issues and manage Incident Reports (IRs).
- Maintain clear and effective communication with end-users regarding issue status, resolution, and best practices.
- Work closely with implementation and development teams to address L3 issues and sophisticated system integrations.
- Develop and provide effective workarounds for critical system problems to minimize operational impact.
- Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive Knowledge Management database, documenting solutions and best practices for future reference.

On-Call Support
This role requires on-call availability in a rotating model in addition to the regular working hours. approximately once per month. Any on-call duties are compensated with additional payment, in line with the Siemens policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in consulting and concept development for the software and product development process
- Excellent knowledge of business processes in the ALM/PLM environment, as well as process knowledge in Business Process Analysis.
- Basic Linux and Windows Operating System knowledge
- Previous experience installing SISW Software solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in Requirements Engineering/System Engineering and working experience with web applications, client-server architecture
- You understand common software development principles and lifecycle
- You contribute to process improvement in Application support and maintenance, providing feedback on the use of processes, systems, and tools in real world situations
- Focusing on mentoring others to improve technical delivery & support across the business, proactively sharing knowledge to transfer expertise

Please note that this role may be subject to security and export control requirements. As a result, employment in this role is subject to the successful completion of pre employment screening, including Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks. Depending on the nature of the role and associated access requirements, additional levels of National Security Vetting (such as Security Check (SC)) may be required. This may include meeting UK residency requirements necessary to support the security vetting process.

Pay Transparency
The total cash compensation range for this position is 50,000 to 99,900 GBP with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
