AWS Java Full Stack Developer – 6 Month Contract
London / Edinburgh (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Join a leading financial organisation delivering large-scale cloud transformation projects. This contract offers the opportunity to modernise enterprise applications and build scalable AWS cloud-native solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment. Excellent day rate available.
Key Responsibilities
- Refactor Java & Angular applications into AWS cloud-native microservices.
- Develop with Java 11+/17, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Deploy solutions using AWS (EKS/ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins/GitLab.
- Support Agile delivery, code reviews, production releases, and application migrations.

Required Skills
- Strong Java 11+/17 and Spring Boot experience.
- Hands-on Angular development.
- Solid AWS platform expertise.
- CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps experience.
- Previous banking or financial services experience.
