AWS Platform Engineer | AWS | EKS | Lambda | Terraform | GitHub Actions | Hybrid West London (3 days per week) | £60,000 + bonus + benefits

Method Resourcing are proud to be partnered with one of the UK's fastest-growing digital sports businesses as they continue to scale their cloud platform engineering function.

They're looking for an AWS Platform Engineer to join a close-knit team, supporting a highly available cloud environment that underpins a real-time, customer-facing platform. This role has come about due to an internal promotion, making it an excellent opportunity to join a business that genuinely invests in progression and development.

The role

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level Platform Engineer looking to accelerate their development within a modern AWS environment.

You'll gain exposure across multiple areas of platform engineering including cloud infrastructure, security, automation, observability, reliability, and performance optimisation. The senior engineers are highly supportive and will provide plenty of guidance, but you'll also be given real ownership and autonomy from day one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
