Senior AWS Platform Engineer
Nagarro UK is a fast-growing cloud, data, and AI consultancy built on the foundation of FWD View, a specialist data focused consultancy within predominantly financial services. Backed by a global engineering business (18k+ people), we’re building a high-autonomy, founder-led practice focused on helping enterprises modernise, scale AI, and unlock value from complex environments.
Nagarro are looking for a Senior AWS Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure unit in London, working within a highly technical, fast-paced environment.
We’re looking for someone with genuine depth across AWS. Not simply experience deploying workloads into AWS, but someone who has designed, built, automated and operated production cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities
You will bring strong experience across:
- AWS platform and infrastructure engineering
- Kubernetes / EKS and containerised environments
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation/CDK
- AWS networking, IAM, security and multi-account environments
- AWS-native services across compute, storage, messaging and integration
- CI/CD, GitOps and infrastructure automation
- Observability, resilience and production operations
- Python and/or other scripting/automation
- Designing and troubleshooting complex production environments

Exposure to Agentic AI, AWS Bedrock, AI-assisted operations or automation would be particularly interesting.
We’re less interested in someone who has simply used AWS and more interested in engineers who understand how to build and engineer platforms properly on AWS, can explain the architectural choices they’ve made, and are comfortable taking ownership in complex environments.
