AI-native consultancy requires 2 x AWS Senior Platform Engineers, with Financial Services experience, to join them ASAP to deliver a digital transformation and AgenticX project to their household name FS client.
Contract Details
- Title: AWS Platform Engineer
- Determination: Inside IR35
- Working Pattern: 1 day per week in office on client site, 4 days from home (80% remote)
- Day Rate: £550
- Start Date: By no later than Monday 26th Oct 2026
- Duration: 6 months to start, extension "highly likely"

Project Scope
Help build and strengthen the AWS platform underpinning AgenticX. The initial focus is a federated identity platform and consolidating existing integrations into core AWS technology, including Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore. The work needs to meet the controls and assurance expectations of a regulated bank.
Responsibilities
- Design and build reliable AWS platform capabilities, including federated identity.
- Assess the current platform and help prioritise the work needed through year-end.
- Work with the solution architect and technical BAs to turn requirements into implementable, auditable work.
- Help establish a foundation that can support wider use of the platform in 2027.

Experience you will have
- Strong hands-on AWS cloud engineering and platform design experience.
- Ability to work independently, navigate an unfamiliar estate and make sound technical judgments.
- Experience with federated identity and complex integrations.
- Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore.
- Experience working within regulated environments, including risk, assurance and design controls.
