Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure

  • Administer AWS infrastructure in the Singapore region, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet/VPN/Transit Gateways, and multi-AZ deployments.
  • Manage EC2 instances, EBS volumes, security groups, and IAM roles and policies across Production and Non-Production VPCs (Staging/Pre-prod, UAT, Test, Development).
  • Monitor cloud resource utilization, optimize costs, and right-size workloads.
  • Maintain secure connectivity between AWS, on-prem data centers, and MuleSoft CloudHub via Transit Gateway and VPN.

On-Premises Infrastructure

  • Administer servers, storage, and supporting systems across data centers.
  • Support DMZ and Corporate LAN segments, including coordination with network teams on WAF, firewalls (DMZ and Corporate), core switches, distribution switches, and TOR switches.
  • Manage load balancers (external and internal) and ensure proper traffic distribution across nodes.
  • Maintain MPLS connectivity, failover readiness, and DR procedures between data centers.

Operations & Reliability

  • Monitor system health using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent; respond to alerts and resolve incidents within SLA.
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and capacity planning across hybrid environments with minimal downtime.
  • Design and execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures; participate in DR drills.
  • Maintain on-call rotation for production support.

Automation & Documentation

  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and routine operations using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or shell/Python scripting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of architecture, runbooks, change records, and standard operating procedures.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain hardening standards across servers, network segments, and cloud resources.
  • Manage secrets, certificates, and access controls following least-privilege principles.
