Senior AI Full Stack Developer

£85,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Hybrid – Reading | 2 days per week in the office

Are you a Senior Software Developer who is already building with AI, LLMs and modern Microsoft technologies?

We’re working with a rapidly growing Microsoft Solutions Partner that is investing heavily in its AI and innovation capability. They’re looking for an experienced Senior AI Full Stack Developer to help design and deliver the next generation of AI-powered applications for enterprise customers.

This isn’t a traditional Machine Learning or Data Science role.

They need a strong full-stack software engineer first — someone who knows how to build secure, scalable, production-grade applications and has embraced technologies such as LLMs, AI agents, RAG and AI-assisted development.

You’ll be joining a fast-moving AI & Data Innovation team, initially helping establish the patterns, standards and approaches the wider business will use to deliver AI-powered software at scale.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work directly across customer projects, taking ideas and business requirements through to secure, production-ready applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing production-grade AI-powered applications.
  • Building modern full-stack solutions using technologies such as React, Node.js, .NET/C#, Python and FastAPI.
  • Integrating Microsoft AI technologies including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Foundry Agents and Azure AI Search.
  • Building LLM-powered applications, RAG architectures, agentic workflows and MCP integrations.
  • Deploying secure and scalable applications within Microsoft Azure.
  • Working directly with customers to translate business challenges into practical technical solutions.
  • Using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude and Cursor to accelerate software development.
  • Maintaining strong engineering standards across testing, security, code quality, CI/CD and production readiness.
  • Building prototypes and proof-of-concepts that can be evolved into production solutions.
  • Helping define reusable AI engineering patterns, components and accelerators.
  • Evaluating emerging AI frameworks and identifying where they genuinely add value.
  • Mentoring developers and helping AI-assisted development become part of mainstream engineering delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Microsoft AI experience

Experience across the Microsoft AI ecosystem would be particularly valuable, including:

  • Azure OpenAI
  • Azure AI Foundry
  • Foundry Agents
  • Azure AI Search
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Cognitive Services
  • Vector databases
  • MCP
  • AI evaluation, testing and observability

Previous experience working within a Microsoft Partner, consultancy, MSP or professional services environment would also be highly advantageous.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to do much more than deliver individual AI projects.

You’ll have the chance to influence how an established Microsoft organisation approaches AI-powered software engineering — defining patterns, testing emerging technologies, creating reusable capabilities and helping shape how AI solutions are delivered across future customer engagements.

If you’re a strong software engineer who has genuinely embraced AI-assisted development and wants to be building real-world AI applications rather than simply talking about them, this is a great opportunity.
