Azure Analytics Architect

£90,000 - £105,000 | UK | Hybrid | SC Cleared / Eligible

Overview

Join a world-leading Microsoft consultancy delivering cutting-edge data and analytics solutions for some of the UK's most high-profile organisations. As an Azure Analytics Architect, you'll help define the next generation of Microsoft data platforms across complex, large-scale transformation programmes.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role with genuine ownership from strategy through to delivery. You'll have the autonomy to influence critical technology decisions, lead talented delivery teams and play a key role in the continued growth of an ambitious Data & Analytics practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape the data strategy and technical vision behind some of the UK's most ambitious digital transformation programmes.
  • Architect cutting-edge data platforms at the forefront of Microsoft and modern data analytics.
  • Solve complex, enterprise-scale data challenges, turning bold ideas and business ambitions into world-class technical solutions.
  • Take ownership from initial strategy and architecture through to successful delivery, providing technical leadership throughout.
  • Become a trusted technology partner to senior client stakeholders, influencing critical decisions and long-term data strategy.
  • Set the benchmark for architecture across security, scalability, performance, resilience and engineering excellence.
  • Help win and shape major new programmes through compelling solution design, demonstrations and strategic pre-sales.
  • Inspire and mentor talented consultants and engineers while helping define the future capabilities of a growing Data & Analytics practice.

Skills & Experience

  • A proven track record architecting enterprise-scale data platforms across major transformation programmes.
  • Deep expertise in modern data architecture, with the ability to tackle complex integration, modelling and engineering challenges.
  • Strong experience across the Microsoft data ecosystem, including Fabric, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI, Azure SQL and Data Lake.
  • Experience designing sophisticated lakehouse, data warehouse and analytics architectures that perform at enterprise scale.
  • A passion for what's next in Microsoft technology and using new capabilities to create smarter, more innovative solutions.
  • The architectural judgement to balance innovation with security, governance, scalability and resilience.
  • The presence and credibility to engage senior technology leaders, challenge conventional thinking and inspire confidence in your technical vision.
  • Experience leading and inspiring technical teams to turn architecture into successful real-world solutions.
  • Active UK SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
