About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team on a remote basis. The primary focus of this role is to support the configuration and deployment of API Management solutions within the Azure cloud environment. The successful candidate will work closely with internal infrastructure, development, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Azure services, particularly focusing on API management, networking, and security configurations.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a cloud professional with hands-on experience in Azure API Management to contribute to high-impact projects, enhance cloud infrastructure, and develop innovative solutions that support the organization’s digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise and practical experience, including:
- Proven experience implementing and supporting Azure API Management (APIM).
- Strong understanding of Azure networking components such as Virtual Networks (VNets), VNet peering, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
- Experience configuring and managing Azure Firewall, including policies and rule collections.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Familiarity with deploying and supporting Azure Virtual Networks, Route Tables, and Private Endpoints.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications in Azure or cloud computing are a plus.
Responsibilities
The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for a range of technical and collaborative tasks, including:
- Implementing and maintaining Azure API Management (APIM) solutions to support organizational needs.
- Configuring and managing Azure Firewall policies, rule collections, and traffic flow to ensure secure API access.
- Deploying and supporting Azure Virtual Networks, including VNet peering, Private Endpoints, and associated network security configurations.
- Managing Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF) to optimize web application security and performance.
- Collaborating with development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver integrated Azure services aligned with best practices.
- Producing comprehensive technical documentation and providing knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues to maintain high availability and performance.
