This is an exciting opportunity to work across a modern technology landscape that spans Azure, automation, Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, DevOps, and emerging AI capabilities. You'll gain hands-on experience building and optimising cloud-native platforms while helping evolve traditional infrastructure into resilient, software-defined environments.
If you're passionate about cloud engineering, automation, and emerging technologies, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where your ideas and expertise can help shape future capabilities, we'd love to see an application from you!
A role you will love
The role offers you the opportunity to work collaboratively across multiple technology teams and contribute to the evolution of traditional infrastructure into modern, software-defined platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to be part of an organisation investing heavily in cloud, automation, and AI-driven innovation.
Other Key Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud solutions across Azure, ensuring performance, reliability, cost efficiency, governance, and alignment with business and digital platform objectives.
- Develop cloud-native automation, containerised workloads (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and AI platform capabilities, including Azure AI services, reusable patterns, landing zones, observability, and operational handover.
- Apply cloud security best practices, identity and access management, encryption, monitoring, compliance controls, and operational processes to maintain secure and resilient environments.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, operations, networking, security, and DevOps teams to integrate solutions, support change management, create self-service tooling and documentation, and drive user enablement and training.
- Monitor KPIs, report on cloud adoption, uptime and cost optimisation, support agile delivery practices, and evaluate emerging cloud and AI technologies to enhance platform capabilities and business value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
