About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our client's dynamic team remotely. The primary focus of this role is to support and enhance the deployment and configuration of Azure API Management solutions, ensuring seamless integration, security, and performance. The successful candidate will work closely with internal infrastructure, application teams, and security specialists to implement robust cloud solutions that align with organizational goals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to leverage their expertise in cloud architecture and API management within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Azure cloud services, particularly in API management and network security. Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience with Azure API Management, Azure Firewall, Virtual Networks, and related security services. A solid understanding of network architecture, including VNet peering, NSGs, and route tables, is essential. Experience with Azure DevOps is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation are also important for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Azure API Management (APIM) solutions to support organizational API strategies.
- Configure and manage Azure Firewall, including policies and rule collections, to ensure secure traffic flow.
- Deploy and support Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Route Tables, and Private Endpoints to establish a secure and scalable network infrastructure.
- Maintain and optimize Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF) to enhance application security and performance.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver integrated Azure services aligned with organizational requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including deployment procedures, configurations, and operational guidelines.
- Support troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Azure cloud services promptly to minimize downtime.
