Infrastructure Cloud Engineer
Central London | Hybrid – 4 days onsite
Permanent - £65,000
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join a growing Microsoft cloud environment and take responsibility for the support, administration, and continuous improvement of its Azure infrastructure platform.
This is a hands-on engineering position with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure IaaS, cloud networking, security, and operational support, alongside exposure to Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
You'll work closely with a Modern Workplace Architect and wider infrastructure teams, supporting business-critical cloud services while contributing to migrations, infrastructure improvements, and new cloud initiatives.

What you'll be doing
- Administering and supporting Microsoft Azure IaaS environments
- Managing Azure VMs, Storage, Backup, and associated cloud services
- Supporting Azure networking and hybrid connectivity
- Troubleshooting complex cloud and infrastructure issues
- Monitoring platform availability, performance, and capacity
- Supporting Azure security controls, governance, and vulnerability remediation
- Administering Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC
- Supporting Microsoft 365 services
- Acting as a 2nd/3rd line escalation point for cloud-related issues
- Contributing to Azure migrations and infrastructure projects
- Identifying opportunities for automation and service improvement

What we're looking for
You'll ideally have strong hands-on experience across:
- Microsoft Azure IaaS
- Azure networking
- Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, and Backup
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Microsoft 365
- Windows Server
- PowerShell
- Cloud security and identity principles
This would suit an Azure Infrastructure Engineer or Cloud Engineer looking for broader ownership within a growing Microsoft cloud estate.
