Azure Consultant

💰 Circa £550 per day, Outside IR35
📍 Remote, UK based, 6 month contract, immediate start required (Tuesday 15th September)

Company & Role

This role sits within a live Microsoft 365 and Azure transformation programme for an enterprise client. The programme spans tenant migrations, consolidations and separations, alongside modern workplace, security and compliance work across the Microsoft stack. Azure is the backbone of it, with Azure Virtual Desktop and Nerdio central to how the environment gets delivered and managed.

You will be the senior technical voice on Azure infrastructure within a wider consulting team, working directly with technical and business stakeholders across a fast moving, multi-workstream delivery.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • This is a genuinely urgent, high visibility piece of work, not background BAU.
  • You are brought in to own a specific, technically demanding slice of a live programme.
  • Azure Landing Zones, AVD and Nerdio sit at the centre of the role rather than being one line among many, so you are working deep in your specialism rather than spread thin across the whole Microsoft stack.
  • Outside IR35, remote, six months with scope to extend, and an immediate start for the right person.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
