My client is one of the UK's leading IT solutions and managed service providers, with a deep specialism in the public sector and one of the strongest Microsoft partnerships in the country. As a long-standing Microsoft Gold Partner and a trusted name on the major public sector frameworks, their consultants get to work on high-profile, meaningful cloud transformation — backed by the training, certifications and support to build a serious career.
They're now hiring an Azure Consultant to join their Consultancy team within IT Services.
The role
You'll design, implement and support Microsoft Azure solutions across a broad range of customer engagements — helping organisations modernise and get the most from their cloud investment. Working alongside experienced Senior Consultants and Project Managers, you'll combine hands-on delivery with customer engagement. It's a genuine pathway role: do great work here and the route to Senior Consultant is clear and well supported.

What you'll be doing
- Designing, deploying and supporting Azure solutions to best practice
- Leading on-premises and cloud-to-Azure migrations
- Networking & connectivity — VPN, ExpressRoute, Firewall, NSGs
- Security & identity — Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Zero Trust
- Backup, DR and resilience — Azure Backup & Site Recovery
- Governance — Azure Policy, Management Groups, tagging
- Automation & IaC — PowerShell and Terraform
- Customer workshops, discovery sessions and clear documentation
What we're looking for
- Hands-on Azure delivery experience, ideally customer-facing
- Strong Azure networking (VPN, ExpressRoute, VNets)
- Azure security know-how — Defender, Entra ID, RBAC, PIM
- Compute, storage and platform services
- IaC (Terraform/Bicep) and PowerShell automation
- Sharp troubleshooting across Azure and hybrid
- A confident communicator who works well solo and in a team

Certifications (desirable, not essential)
AZ-104, SC-300, AZ-500, working towards AZ-305, and Terraform Associate are all advantageous — and if you're missing some, they'll support you to achieve them.
