With a hands-on culture and close proximity to its clients, Sogeti is currently looking for a Azure Databricks Architect to join our ACT Practice, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving impactful value creation for our clients.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Mandatory Skills
Enterprise Architecture
- Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale Azure Databricks platforms
- Platform strategy, roadmap development, and technology governance
- Design of scalable, secure, and cost-optimised cloud data platforms
Databricks & Azure Expertise
- Deep understanding of Databricks Serverless, SQL Warehouses, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and platform governance
- Azure networking, identity, security, and private connectivity architecture
- Enterprise-scale performance and workload optimisation
FinOps Leadership
- Design and implementation of FinOps operating models
- Cost attribution frameworks
- Budget governance, chargeback/showback models
- Enterprise tagging strategies and policy enforcement
Security & Governance
- Data governance and platform security architecture
- Secure integration patterns
- Regulatory and compliance alignment
- Operational guardrails, standards, and controls
