About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Developer to join our dynamic data team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based data integration and analytics solutions. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with architects, analysts, and other developers to implement innovative data solutions that support business intelligence, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, data integration, and a passion for building robust, secure, and high-performance data pipelines. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and industry experience, including:
- Proven experience as an Azure Developer or similar role, with a focus on cloud-based data solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse Analytics, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
- Solid understanding of SQL, Python, ETL processes, and API development.
- Hands-on experience working with various databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL options like Cosmos DB.
- Knowledge of data interchange formats such as JSON and XML, and familiarity with REST and SOAP web services.
- Experience in designing, developing, and supporting scalable data pipelines and integrations.
- Understanding of security, governance, and compliance standards within cloud environments.
Responsibilities
The Senior Azure Developer will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Azure-based data integration solutions that meet business requirements.
- Building and supporting ETL processes, data pipelines, and application interfaces to facilitate seamless data flow.
- Developing cloud-native integrations utilizing Azure services such as ADF, Synapse, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
- Supporting real-time, batch, and event-driven data processing to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure data solutions.
- Maintaining and monitoring production data pipelines, ensuring they adhere to security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.
- Staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve data solutions.
