Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Azure Cloud Developer DevOps Engineer role based in the United Kingdom. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure, including resource provisioning, configuration, and monitoring. The Azure Cloud Developer DevOps Engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure reliable, secure delivery of applications and services. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define cloud and DevOps requirements, optimizing performance, managing environments, and troubleshooting production issues. The role also includes implementing best practices for security, reliability, documentation, and continuous improvement across cloud and DevOps processes.

  • Strong skills in Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure VMs, App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, Networking) and experience designing secure, scalable architectures.
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar), infrastructure as code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform), and automation scripting.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and managing application deployments in cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability using tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and related dashboards and alerts.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and DevOps, including identity and access management, secrets management, and compliance-focused configurations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud and deployment issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Oracle technologies, ORMB, or enterprise integrations, and prior work on digital transformation projects is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate) are beneficial.
