We are currently hiring for an experienced DevOps / DevSecOps Transformation Lead for a short-term specialist engagement with a leading UK organisation.
Role: DevOps, Secure Delivery & SDLC Transformation Lead
Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk – 100% onsite
Duration: Approx. 20 working days
Start: ASAP
Requirement: 1 resource
Security: Security screening required
What you’ll be doing:
- Assess the current DevOps, SDLC and delivery environment
- Define a practical DevOps operating model and SDLC governance framework
- Configure and standardise Azure DevOps – Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans & Reporting
- Design/implement CI/CD pipelines and controlled release processes
- Embed DevSecOps, Secure by Design, SAST, DAST and vulnerability controls
- Establish requirements-to-release traceability and auditability
- Support Infrastructure as Code, configuration and environment management
- Apply ISO 27001-aligned security and governance controls
- Provide coaching, documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Looking for someone with:
- ✅ Strong hands-on Azure DevOps administration/configuration experience
- ✅ Enterprise DevOps / DevSecOps transformation experience
- ✅ Strong CI/CD and release management expertise
- ✅ SDLC governance and Agile delivery experience
- ✅ SAST, DAST, vulnerability and security-gate experience
- ✅ Understanding of cloud, infrastructure and IaC
- ✅ Experience working with security, operations, technical and senior stakeholders
- ✅ Ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on implementation
