Azure DevOps Engineer (Contract)
Leading bank looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join the team on a contract basis.
Role Overview
- Designs, builds, and manages cloud infrastructure
- Automates software delivery processes
- Integrates development and operations, enabling continuous integration, deployment
- Monitors applications in cloud environments
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge on Azure DevOps and its modules
- Best knowledge on Windows, networks, storage, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and security controls
- Proven knowledge on Intune MDM
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks
- Strong knowledge on Python, Bash and PowerShell versions
- Strong knowledge on IT automation engine like Ansible
- Strong on automating the software development lifecycle using Jenkins
- Knowledge on Declarative manifests like YAML and JSON
- Automate infrastructure provisioning (Infrastructure as Code (IaC))
- Knowledge on Microsoft Graph API and REST APIs
- Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Cloud Infrastructure Management (Azure and AWS) for provision, configure, and manage cloud environments
- Good understanding on Windows 365 and Citrix infrastructure especially in VDI management

Experience
- 6+ years of Azure DevOps experience - required
- CI/CD
- Python, Bash or PowerShell experience
- AI experience - nice to have
- Experience working in a large corporate environment

Location Based in Birmingham or Sheffield - hybrid working
