Azure DevOps Engineer – Contract (1 day/week) – Taunton – Up to £420/day, Outside IR35
We're looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support the design, build and maintenance of secure, scalable, automated cloud environments within a highly regulated Azure ecosystem. This is a part-time engagement of one day per week, on site in Taunton. You'll work closely with Lead Developers, DevOps Leads, Architects, Testers and Product Owners to enable efficient software delivery through automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and cloud platform management.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps with Git-based workflows
- Deliver IaC using Bicep, ARM Templates or Terraform
- Manage Azure resources across Dev, Test, UAT and Production
- Embed security, compliance and quality controls into pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Support monitoring, logging, diagnostics and deployment troubleshooting
- Contribute to containerised solutions using Docker and AKS where applicable
- Maintain documentation and participate in Agile ceremonies

What you'll bring
- Strong Azure experience, including Azure DevOps pipelines and release management
- Solid CI/CD and deployment automation knowledge
- Hands-on IaC and Git experience
- Good grasp of cloud networking, security and identity
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
- Nice to have: AKS, Docker, PowerShell/Bash, APM tooling, DevSecOps scanning, DORA metrics.
Up to £420 per day, outside IR35.
