About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud-Native Application Developer to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely on high-profile projects for a major client, focusing on the development, modernization, and deployment of cloud-native applications within the Azure ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that align with best practices and industry standards. This position requires a proactive approach, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud applications that drive business success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings, including App Services, Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Strong proficiency in C#,.NET, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on Azure.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies to facilitate efficient development cycles and collaboration.
- Azure Developer certification is advantageous, but equivalent hands-on experience is highly valued.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities
The Azure Cloud-Native Application Developer will be responsible for a range of technical and collaborative tasks, including:
- Designing and developing cloud-native applications utilizing Azure App Services, Functions, and Logic Apps to meet project requirements.
- Refactoring and re-platforming legacy applications to leverage Azure cloud capabilities, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborating closely with solution architects and DevOps engineers to facilitate seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications.
- Building and managing APIs, integrating third-party services, and utilizing Azure API Management to enhance application functionalities.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues within cloud applications and services to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Participating in agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Staying updated with the latest Azure features and cloud development trends to continuously improve application performance and security.

This role offers a competitive daily rate of £620 inside IR35, with the opportunity to work remotely, providing flexibility and work-life balance. The contract duration is initially set for six months or longer, with potential extensions based on project needs and performance.
