Azure Infrastructure Engineer (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global reinsurance organisation as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer. As the business continues to expand, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure that underpins its global technology strategy.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Azure networking expertise, a passion for infrastructure automation, and experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities of the Azure Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, resilient Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage Azure networking services, including VNets, routing, firewalls, load balancers, private endpoints, and API Gateways.
  • Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity issues across Azure IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments.
  • Implement Azure security, governance, and compliance best practices.
  • Monitor, optimise, and support cloud platforms to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Work closely with architects, developers, and security teams, producing technical documentation and low-level designs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
