Azure Infrastructure Solution Architect – Oracle ERP Migration (SaaS) - Global
This global retailer is scaling fast across new and existing markets, and its technology foundations need to evolve just as quickly. We’re modernising core enterprise platforms, including a major programme to migrate our on‑prem Oracle ERP estate into a secure, resilient SaaS environment built on Azure.
We’re looking for a Senior Azure Infrastructure Solution Architect who thrives in complex hybrid landscapes, understands the realities of enterprise ERP modernisation, and can shape cloud architectures that stand up to global scale, security, and operational demands.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead infrastructure architecture for a multi‑year ERP modernisation programme, moving Oracle ERP from on‑prem to SaaS.
- Define Azure landing zone patterns, shared services, identity, networking, and security controls for ERP and adjacent platforms.
- Architect hybrid connectivity between data centres, Azure, and SaaS services (ExpressRoute, VPN, segmentation, routing domains).
- Partner with ERP functional and technical teams to ensure cloud hosting, integration, identity, and operational readiness are fit for purpose.
- Produce high‑quality architecture artefacts: target architectures, solution designs, NFRs, security patterns, and operational handover documentation.
- Govern technical delivery, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and programme objectives.
- Influence senior stakeholders across technology, operations, and business teams with clear, pragmatic decision‑making.

What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years designing and delivering enterprise‑scale Azure infrastructure solutions; 8+ years in technology overall.
- Proven experience migrating on‑prem Oracle ERP (E‑Business Suite or similar) to SaaS, including hosting, identity, integration, and data considerations.
- Deep knowledge of Azure networking, landing zones, segmentation, firewalls, DNS, routing, and resilience patterns.
- Strong understanding of hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN, routing domains, QoS, failover testing).
- Expertise in identity and access management (Azure AD/Entra ID, SSO, federation, conditional access, privileged access).
- Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience delivering architecture governance and assurance for large‑scale transformation programmes.

Contract Details:
- £600–£625 per day (Inside IR35)
- 6‑month contract, strong likelihood of extension
- Hybrid: 2 days per week in Reading
