Cloud Integration Engineer (Azure) - 12 Month FTC

Up to £90,000 + bonus & benefits
UK - remote - very occasional travel to the offices.

We're working with our client on a strong opportunity for an experienced Integration Engineer to join a major programme of technology investment.

This is a good role for someone who enjoys building things properly rather than simply supporting legacy integrations. You'll be joining a collaborative engineering team and helping improve how a broad range of business applications, digital platforms and data sources connect with one another.

There's plenty of new development work, a modern Microsoft cloud environment and good scope to influence how integration is approached across the wider technology estate.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll design and build integrations between a range of cloud and enterprise applications, taking ownership across the full lifecycle from initial requirements through to development, testing, deployment and support.

A large part of the role will involve working with Microsoft Azure and modern integration patterns, building APIs, automated workflows, messaging solutions and event-driven integrations.

You'll work closely with other Engineers, Analysts, Product colleagues and technical specialists to understand what needs to be achieved and turn that into reliable, scalable solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

There's also a strong engineering improvement element to the role. You'll help strengthen deployment processes, monitoring, documentation and supportability while contributing ideas around future integration standards and architecture.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong experience building integrations within Microsoft Azure
  • Good knowledge of APIs, messaging and event-driven architecture
  • Experience connecting cloud applications and enterprise systems
  • Hands-on development experience using C#, JavaScript, Python or similar
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and automated deployment pipelines
  • Good understanding of source control and modern engineering practices
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting integrations in live environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working within Agile technology teams
  • Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Exposure to wider Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, CRM platforms or other enterprise business applications would be useful, but isn't essential.

Why Consider It?

The main attraction here is the scale of the work and the amount of new development involved.

Our client is making a significant investment in its technology environment, so you'll be joining at a point where integration is becoming increasingly important rather than simply maintaining something that is already established.

It's predominantly remote across the UK - with very occasional travel to an office.
