The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Azure Platform DevOps Engineer to join our team and support, enhance, and evolve a cloud platform built on Microsoft Azure. You will play a key role in embedding DevOps best practices across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, security, and operational support.

You will work closely with engineering, development, and delivery teams to ensure our Azure platform is secure, scalable, reliable, highly available, and efficiently managed. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, automating processes, and continuously improving cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimise Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and operational processes across Azure environments.
  • Support and maintain production-grade cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Monitor Azure environments and proactively identify and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Work with development teams to improve deployment processes and establish effective DevOps practices.
  • Support cloud security, access management, networking, and governance in line with organisational standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service issues, and deployment failures in production environments.
  • Contribute to cloud platform improvements, technical standards, and automation initiatives.
  • Help improve system resilience, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with technical and delivery teams to understand requirements and deliver effective cloud solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
