Azure Pro-Code Engineer

We’re looking for an Azure Pro-Code Engineer to design, build, and run cloud-native applications and integrations on Microsoft Azure. You’ll work where low-code ends and custom engineering begins: building scalable services, APIs, and automation that extend and complement platforms like Power Platform and Dynamics 365, and delivering robust solutions for complex business needs. You’ll work closely with architects, product owners, low-code developers, and DevOps engineers to turn requirements into secure, maintainable, production-grade software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices on Azure using C#/.NET, Python, or Node.js
  • Build and maintain serverless and event-driven solutions with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs
  • Develop secure, well-documented REST APIs, and manage them through Azure API Management
  • Build custom connectors, plugins, PCF components, and APIs that extend Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions
  • Implement data solutions using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, and Azure Data Factory
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Provision and manage infrastructure as code with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
  • Apply security best practices, including Managed Identities, Key Vault, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and secure-by-design principles
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and optimise performance and cost
  • Take part in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies
  • Produce technical documentation and share knowledge with the wider team
  • Contribute to engineering standards, reusable components, and best practices

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
