Azure Security Architect / Azure Security Specialist
Role: Azure Security Architect
Location: London, UK – Onsite
Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: Immediate
Engagement: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain Azure security architecture, blueprints, and enterprise security standards.
- Design and govern Azure networking security, including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, DDoS Protection, and network segmentation.
- Implement identity and access security using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, and PIM.
- Establish cloud security monitoring, threat detection, and compliance using Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Policy.
- Conduct security assessments, identify risks, and recommend remediation measures.
- Implement Zero Trust principles and secure-by-design cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering stakeholders to ensure cloud security governance and best practices.
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

- Strong hands-on experience in Azure Security Architecture and cloud security.
- Expertise in Azure networking and security controls.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, identity governance, and Zero Trust.
- Experience with threat detection, incident response, and cloud security compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
- AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- CISSP / CCSP or equivalent security certifications
