About the Job
Reporting to the Station Engineer/Duty Engineer/Supervisor, this role is part of a highly skilled global team ensuring TUI Engineering and Maintenance delivers operational excellence in safety, punctuality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance (scheduled & unscheduled) and certify adherence to technical documentation and company procedures.
- Monitor A-Licensed engineers, certifying their work and tasks.
- Drive performance improvement by delivering high technical dispatch reliability and optimising aircraft fleet health to reduce deferred defects.
- Support off-site duties, including:
- Traveling to rescue aircraft (down-route rescues)
- Performing flying spanner support
- Develop external/internal relationships, reinforcing TUI’s strategies and promoting group awareness.
- Supervise and deputise as required by Station Engineer/LMM Technical leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with:
- Local Airport regulations
- Company policies (Technical, Health & Safety, Environment Management Systems, IT & HR)
- Uphold TUI’s core values at all times.

About You
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Licensed engineer with Part 145 approval for:
- Boeing 737NG
- Boeing 737MAX
- Boeing 787 (Must maintain active approval with demonstrated significant aircraft maintenance experience)
- Proven operational awareness in fast-paced environments
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Logical problem-solving skills with the capacity to innovate solutions

Critical Attributes

- Superlative communication skills, both internally (cross-departmental) and externally (customer-facing)
- Proficiency with IT systems and tools
- Ability to secure an Airport Security Pass
- Hold applicable Airside driving permits (where applicable)
