About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced EASA Part-66 B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a growing aircraft maintenance operation in South Wales.
Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on a range of commercial aircraft, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements, approved maintenance data and company procedures.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of safety and quality. You will also support and mentor other team members, helping to maintain a productive and professional working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance data, company procedures and customer requirements.
- Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of your licence and approvals.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Support, guide and supervise engineers, technicians and mechanics as required.
- Liaise with management regarding progress, manpower requirements and operational priorities.
- Complete maintenance activities efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to EASA Part-145 requirements and industry best practice.
- Promote effective task control, housekeeping standards and FOD prevention measures.
- Identify opportunities to improve working practices and operational efficiency.
- Support aircraft storage, modification programmes, defect rectification, engine removals and other maintenance activities as required.

Aircraft Types Supported
The maintenance operation supports a varied fleet of narrow-body and wide-body commercial aircraft.
Core Fleet
- Airbus A320ceo
- Boeing 737NG
Additional Aircraft Types
- Boeing 737 Classic (737CL)
- Airbus A330
- Boeing 757
- Boeing 767
- Boeing 777
Engineers with experience across multiple aircraft types will be viewed favourably.
Shifts
5,5,4 shift pattern with 12 hour shifts
Essential Requirements
- EASA Part-66 B1 Licence.
- Type ratings including:
- Airbus A330 (GE CF6, PW4000 and/or Trent 700), and
- Airbus A320 Family and/or Boeing 737 Family.
- Recent demonstrable aircraft maintenance experience on relevant aircraft types.
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, inspection techniques and industry standards.
- Experience working within a Part-145 maintenance environment.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced maintenance operation.
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safety, compliance and quality standards.

Desirable Experience
- Dual B1/B2 Licence.
- Engine Ground Run (EGR) approval.
- Additional type ratings on B757, B767, B777 or other large commercial aircraft.
- Experience working on both narrow-body and wide-body fleets.
- Previous supervision or mentoring experience.
