About the Job

We’re seeking skilled, licensed engineers to join us as part of a high-performing team delivering essential services across aircraft disassembly, maintenance, storage, and return to service.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed B1 Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring aircraft maintenance is carried out to the highest standards, in compliance with regulatory and company requirements. You’ll supervise base maintenance activities and act as certifying staff on Airbus A320 Family aircraft, right at the heart of our operations at Teesside International Airport.

Licensed Aircraft Engineers are responsible for performing maintenance in accordance with applicable regulations, approved maintenance data, and company procedures to ensure aircraft are released to service safely and compliantly. The role also includes supporting wider operational activities that contribute to the effective functioning of the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Certify maintenance and support staff in accordance with individual authorisation privileges.
  • Supervise base maintenance activities and allocate work effectively.
  • Ensure completion and certification of all customer work to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Adhere strictly to approved maintenance data and company procedures.
  • Liaise with Quality Auditors to ensure quality assurance activities can be carried out effectively.
  • Support the implementation of the company's Quality Policy and Human Factors principles.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
  • Perform maintenance strictly in accordance with approved maintenance data.
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately, clearly, and unambiguously.
  • Attend all required training, including additional aircraft type training where required.
  • Ensure tooling and equipment are used and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
  • Report issues and suggest improvements to the Safety and Compliance Manager where appropriate.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and associated procedures.
  • Promote and maintain a Just Culture within the organisation.
  • Submit occurrence reports when required and encourage colleagues to do the same.
  • Prepare work packages and formally hand them over to maintenance personnel.
  • Review completed work packages, identify errors or omissions, and ensure corrections are made before release.
  • Archive completed work packages electronically and forward original documentation to the relevant CAMO.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through continuous improvement, hazard reporting, and the application of Human Factors principles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
