At Airbus Helicopters UK, we are the backbone of Britain’s civil and military helicopter support. As the MoD's chosen provider for the UK Military Flying Training System (MFTS) at RAF Shawbury, we deliver critical maintenance support for the H135 and H145 fleets—ensuring world-class training for the next generation of aircrew.
We are looking for professional B1 and B2 Licensed Engineers to join our close-knit Shawbury team and maintain our exceptional standards of safety and operational performance.
Location: RAF Shawbury, Shropshire

- Joining Bonus: To recognise the value of your CAA Part 66 licence and AHUK type rating, we are offering a phased signing bonus for eligible new joiners. This incentive is split between your commencement date and your one-year anniversary with the company. The Roles
Both positions are Full-Time (40 hours/week) based at RAF Shawbury, reporting to the MRO Maintenance Manager.
B1 Licensed Engineer (Mechanical)
Responsibilities: Certify maintenance, repairs, and inspections on airframe structures, power plants, and mechanical systems across the fleet.

Supervision: Oversee maintenance fitters and certify their work.
Requirements: A CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft) is essential.
B2 Licensed Engineer (Avionics)
Responsibilities: Accomplish maintenance inspections and rectifications on electrical and avionics systems.
Expertise: Use specialised test equipment to ensure the continued safe operation of aircraft.
Requirements: A CAA Part 66 B2 Licence is preferred.
