We are seeking a full time B2 Certifying Engineer to join our dedicated Capability Development Team in Doncaster.
This is a permanent post and will involve the Certifying Engineer conducting Base Maintenance activities, including Major & Minor Modifications on our King Air 200, 300 and PA31 fleet, as well as ongoing maintenance or rectification as required to suit operational demands. The role will also be involved with the general day to day upkeep of the Maintenance Organisation, such as supporting cleanliness, tidiness and the upkeep of Maintenance facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of non-licensed personnel
- Supervise electrical/avionics modification and integration activities on B200 and B300 along with other company aircraft
- Support modification, maintenance and rectification on B200, B300 and PA31 and other company aircraft types as required
- Assisting with complex electrical/avionics modifications and repairs either on or off aircraft
- Removal or installation of aircraft electrical/avionics components as required
- Support with mechanical or electrical removals and installations as needed
- Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures
- Perform work in a safe and timely manner
- Support the cleanliness, tidiness and upkeep of Maintenance facilities and equipment
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- An unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B2 Licence (preferably with B200 and/or B300 type rating or similar)
- Received training at an aircraft technical school / or having completed an apprenticeship in the relevant field
- Have several years of avionics and wiring repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experience
- Have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings
- Have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
- Own a basic set of avionics/electrical hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools
- Demonstrate knowledge and use of avionics test equipment and electrical crimping tooling
- Demonstrable recent experience on B200 and/or B300 or similar
- In addition to the above, it would also be advantageous if you also currently hold a C License along with experience on Multi Engine Piston or Turbo Prop aircraft.
