Steele Charles is working in partnership with a long-established UK rotary aviation operator to recruit a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer for their engineering facility at Boscombe Down.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-equipped engineering environment supporting line and base maintenance across a modern rotary fleet. The role offers a 4 days on / 3 days off shift pattern, providing a strong work-life balance alongside a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Role
- Certifying avionics and electrical maintenance within B2 scope
- Carrying out line and base maintenance on rotary aircraft
- Analysing and interpreting aircraft technical information
- Working with operational crews to identify, diagnose and accurately record defects
- Ensuring maintenance is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
- Maintaining compliance with CAA, EASA and relevant Part 145 requirements
- Supporting the wider engineering function and continuous improvement

About You
- Hold a B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Demonstrable recent and relevant maintenance experience
- Rotary/helicopter experience would be advantageous
- Fixed-wing B2 engineers with transferable experience are also encouraged to apply
- Strong avionics, electrical and fault-finding capability
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Able to obtain UK security clearance
