A unique opportunity to join this established and successful produce business supplying a wide range of customers across the retail and food manufacturing sector. Due to continued growth, they have created a new B2B Account Manager position to take ownership of a portfolio of established medium to large food manufacturing accounts.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this is a key role within the commercial team, focused on building strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer requirements are understood and met across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Become a trusted point of contact for customers
- Work closely with internal teams to manage supply, resolve issues and ensure the smooth running of each account

Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with food industry experience specifically with a focus on managing B2B (food manufacturing) accounts. You will be an experienced and commercially aware account manager who genuinely enjoys working with customers and taking ownership of relationships.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Previous B2B account management experience, ideally within fresh produce, food manufacturing, foodservice or a related food environment.
- A strong customer service ethos and excellent relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Experience dealing with supply issues and finding practical solutions to customer challenges.
- Good commercial awareness, with an understanding of customer retention and profitability.
- Experience with forecasting, demand planning or managing customer volume requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, particularly Excel.
- A proactive approach, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to anticipate potential issues.
