Job Title: B2B Appointment Setter / Outbound Caller
Location: Remote
About Us
DUOARCH is a specialist consultancy dedicated to Enterprise Architecture and Artificial Intelligence strategy. We help organisations build the architectural foundations needed to scale securely, efficiently, and with purpose. Our clients span government, financial services, logistics, utilities, and professional services each relying on us to design operating models, modern data platforms, and AI-enabled capabilities that unlock measurable business value.
Joining DUOARCH means contributing to meaningful change, helping clients modernise, innovate, and prepare for an AI-driven future through strong data foundations and thoughtful architecture.
Need
This is not a high-volume call-centre role and you will not be expected to find or research your own leads. DUOARCH will provide you with a carefully researched list of organisations, named contacts, telephone numbers and relevant background information.
Your job is to work through that list persistently and professionally, reach the right people, have a strong initial conversation and, where there is potential interest, book a meeting with a DUOARCH Director.
The Director takes over from there. You do not need to be an expert in enterprise architecture, AI or technology consulting. We will provide the information, context and talking points you need.
What matters most is your ability to pick up the phone, engage people, hold a confident conversation and create enough interest for them to want to meet us.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound B2B calls to a supplied list of named prospects.
- Confidently navigate receptionists and gatekeepers.
- Make repeated, sensible attempts to reach difficult-to-contact prospects.
- Introduce DUOARCH clearly and professionally.
- Hold natural conversations rather than simply reading from a script.
- Create enough interest to secure a meeting with a DUOARCH Director.
- Handle straightforward questions and initial objections.
- Accurately record every call attempt, outcome and useful conversation notes.
- Schedule callbacks and follow-up attempts.
- Book qualified meetings directly into the appropriate Director's diary.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
All calls will be made using DUOARCH's telephone system, so you will not need to use your personal telephone.
You will require your own computer, a suitable headset, webcam and a reliable internet connection.
We're more interested in your personality, communication skills and telephone ability than years of experience. We're not interested in somebody simply making a large number of calls.
Success means: Reaching the right people → having good conversations → creating genuine interest → booking quality Director meetings.
Call activity will be tracked through our telephone system and outcomes recorded, allowing us to continuously improve the targeting, messaging and approach together.

- Based in the UK
On Offer
Initially approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility around when calling sessions take place during UK business hours.
There will also be an additional bonus for qualified meetings that take place.
If the initial engagement works well, there is potential to increase the hours and develop the role further. For the right person, this role has the potential to become much more than appointment setting.
DUOARCH operates internationally, and as the business grows we want to develop our own sales and business development capability.
Someone who demonstrates strong communication skills, consistency and an ability to generate genuine opportunities could have the opportunity to grow with us into a broader Sales or Business Development role.
This could include greater responsibility for developing client relationships, managing opportunities and supporting DUOARCH's growth across the UK and international markets.
We're therefore particularly interested in ambitious candidates who want an opportunity to develop a career in B2B sales and grow with the business, rather than simply looking for a short-term calling
Evaluation Criteria
- Any previous telephone, appointment-setting, recruitment, sales or customer-facing experience.
- Why you're comfortable making outbound calls.
- An example of how you would respond if a prospect said: "I'm busy - just send me something by email."
- Your availability each week.
- A little about what you're looking for from your next role.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a brief informal call, including a simple role-play.
We're interested in hearing how you communicate, not testing your knowledge of technology.
